Green is set to star and executive produce the multi-camera comedy, from Sony TV and studio-based Happy Madison. Comedy veteran Ali Leroi, co-creator of Everybody Hates Chris and developer of Are We There Yet?, will write the comedy, starring Green as a version of himself as he tries to balance his career as a top recording artist and his frenetic home life. This would mark the TV acting debut for Green, who added  actor to his resume with the feature Sparkle. He is executive producing the NBC comedy with Leroi, Happy Madison’s Doug Robinson, Andrew Jameson and Larry Mestel. He follows in the footsteps of Voice co-star Adam Levine, who produced a comedy project at NBC last season and now is making his acting debut on the second season of FX’s American Horror Story.
