Actress Tracie Thoms Joins Brand New Wonder Woman On NBC!

We just discovered that actress Tracie Thoms (of Cold Case and The Devil Wears Prada fame) has just recently signed on to star in the new Wonder Woman series about to launch on NBC!

The amazing thing to us about this story is that we just spoke to Ms. Thoms at the Pan African Film Festival two weeks ago and she did tell us that there was some big news about to drop real soon and it looked positive, so we are happy for her.

We also hear that actress Elizabeth Hurley has also been tapped for a potentially recurring role in the David E. Kelley’s Wonder Woman reboot for NBC.

The show will star Adrianne Palicki as Wonder Woman who in the new version, is a successful corporate executive working to balance all of the elements in her complicated life.

Hurley will guest star in the pilot as villain Veronica Cale, the beautiful, highly educated head of one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in the country who is afflicted with serious deep-seated Wonder Woman envy. Thoms will play the regular role of Etta, Diana Themyscira (Palicki)’s always cheerful personal assistant.
