Dave Chappelle To Host Common's New AAHH Festival In Chicago!

Comedy News

Dave ChappelleAccording to several folks we heard from this morning and more reports from Chicago, we hear that comedian Dave Chappelle is about to host a new comedy and music festival in Chicago, founded by the rapper Common, titled The AAHH Festival.

The festival is taking place September 20th-21st and is supposedly a collaborative effort between Common’s own Common Ground Foundation and Kanye West’s Rhymefest-operated Donda’s House Inc, which we hear is seeking to build infrastructure and advocate for government and private funded youth-oriented job training programs in the embattled Mid-Western city.

For the musical performances, we hear that the Festival will feature performances from Jay Electronica, De La Soul, Lupe Fiasco, MC Lyte, and Lil Herb and our sources told us that Kanye West is supposed to make a surprise appearance and possible performance on the show; which is completely possible since he did the same thing when Chappelle recently performed at Radio City Music Hall a couple of months ago.

Stay tuned as this story is still developing!
