EXCLUSIVE- Affion Crockett To Come Back To Stand Up With The Wayans Brothers & Preps New Sketch Talk Show!

Comedy News

Today at the press junket for David E. Talbert’s new film Baggage Claim that is set to star Paula Patton, Jill Scott, Derek Luke, Boris Kodjoe and many others, we got a chance to chat with a star of the film Affion Crockett who plays Cedric; a TSA agent at the airport.

During the interview, Crockett revealed to us that not only is he coming back to television, he is coming back with a sketch talk show! What is that you ask? Well, if you ever got a chance to see The Chris Rock Show that was on HBO several years ago, it would be similar to that show.

Crockett also revealed to us that he is prepping to do stand up after not doing comedy on stage for over 10 years, and that he is purposely preparing to do his routine because he is going out on tour with The Wayans sometime next year for The Wayans Brothers Comedy Tour that is set to feature, Keenen, Damon, Shawn, and Marlon.

Not word on the exact date yet, but stay tuned!
