Lavell Crawford Drops A New Stand Up Special!

Comedy News

We just discovered that comedian Lavell Crawford, probably best known for his run on NBC’s Last Comic Standing is about to drop his own stand-up DVD/comedy special.

Crawford’s taping was shot in his hometown of ST. Louis and is titled Lavell Crawford Coming Home; Can A Brother Get Some Love? and will be available for Comedy Central and Showtime this Christmas, with a DVD coming nationwide to Walmart and Target.

Up next for Crawford is the pilot taping with Ralphie May of the show Brother From Another Mother, which centers around the two comics, playing best friends who come to find they’re brothers after their dad dies and leaves them his barbecue joint.
