We just discovered some news from comedic actor Miguel A. Nunez Jr. (probably best known for his role in the films Juwanna Man and  Scooby Doo). We hear that he is  producing a new television show for TV One!

Word is Nunez is producing the brand new show titled Belle’s, and we hear that it will center around a upscale family owned and operated restaurant of the same name. Not only will Nunez Executive Produce this show, but we even hear that he will also star in the series. Nunez has partnered with Ed Weinberger, who many of you may not know is the creator of  the NBC hit, The Cosby Show.

Look for the show to debut in August.

Speaking of which, we also heard that Nunez is Executive Producing  a new film for Lionsgate! The project is with Nick Cannon, who we reported several weeks ago is directing this film. As we reported then, the film is being quoted from Cannon as “today’s version of ‘House Party.’ ”

No word yet on the name of the film and the production date, but we did hear that the film is going to be cast with lots of comedians, so as soon as we get more details we will let you know!
