Comedy News

It looks like Morris Chestnut is joining another comedy, this time for television as its being reported that he is joining the  Showtime comedy series Nurse Jackie. This is a good look for Chestnut as he will play a character named Ike Prentiss, who is a new trauma doctor, a former Army medic who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Word is he is signed on for the whole season.

Chestnut just wrapped being on FX’s American Horror Story, Kick Ass 2, Identity Thief, and The Hive. He is about to begin filming Baggage Claim playing the role of Graham Jackson, which is the new film from David E Talbert and we hear that he is also looking at several other new projects.
