MTV To Bring Back Nick Cannon's 'Wild N' Out'!

Comedy News

It was reported today that MTV is moving ahead with plans to bring back Nick Cannon’s Wild’N Out after a five year hiatus. The websites are all reporting that the show is gearing up for a 2013 run as Cannon has been stating to his followers via Twitter for the last several months.

Cannon created, produced and hosted Wild’N Out on MTV from 2005-2007 which also starred other comedians such as DeRayDavis, Kevin Hart, Katt Williams, Corey Holcomb and Affion Crockett just to name a few. The show featured comics  that were placed on teams that went head-to-head in sketches on the original run of the show.

Deadline is reporting that Candida Boyette Clemons and Paul Ricci will serve as MTV2’s executive producers for the new Nick Cannon Present’s Wild ‘N Out and Cannon and Michael Goldman will executive produce for NCredible Entertainment.

According to Cannon’s website, they are about to launch a new cast as they search for tomorrow’s comedic all stars. Check out his post;

MTV2 is reviving Wild ‘n Out and this time it is going to be BIGGER and BETTER! The show is all about featuring up-and-coming comics and celebrity guests and getting them to battle it out improv style! We had some amazing guests in the past four seasons like Tyra Banks, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Lil’ Wayne, Serena Williams and more! With our show’s original cast, everyone from Kevin Hart to Katt Williams, Affion Crockett and Taran Killam becoming household names, I am looking forward to debuting the next big comedic stars! We are looking to cast FRESH talent!
