Will Smith Stops By On Set Of 'Beverly Hills Cop' New TV Show On CBS!

Brandon T JacksonWell, as we told you, this show is creating a major buzz in Hollywood as a lot of folks are anxious to see the end result. As a matter of fact, some people can’t even wait until the new Beverly Hills Cop television series for CBS debuts this fall.

The new show starring Brandon T. Jackson (of Lottery Ticket and Big Momma’s House 3)  as the role of the son of Axel Foley has many talking, and visiting the set.

Case in point, the latest major Hollywood actor to come to the set this past week was Mr. Box Office himself, Will Smith.

The franchise that was very popular and yielded three features starring comedian Eddie Murphy in 1984, ’87 and 1994, is gearing up for Murphy to also reprise his role as Alex Foley in the new series. The new series will revolve around Axel Foley’s son who is trying to escape the shadow of his father who is now Chief Of Police in Detroit.

The show will be broadcast on CBS and will be an adaptation from Shawn Ryan, and will also star David Denman, Presciliana Esparolini, Christine Lahti. and Sheila Vand just to name a few.

Ryan and Murphy are exec producers with Marney Hochman of Ryan’s Sony-based Midd Kid Productions.
